


Customer Service Manager
Location: Carroll County, Virginia
Role Overview:
Pluck’d is seeking a Customer Service Manager to ensure customer orders are processed accurately, communicated clearly, and supported from order placement through delivery.
This role is responsible for managing customer communication, executing orders in NetSuite, and coordinating closely with sales, logistics, and the packhouse team to support reliable, on-time fulfillment. The Customer Service Manager plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience in a time-sensitive fresh produce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Communication & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and distribution customers.

Resolve complaints and concerns quickly while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
Order Management & NetSuite Execution

Oversee end-to-end order processing using NetSuite, including EDI order entry, tracking, adjustments, and billing.

Monitor and manage fulfillment timelines, inventory accuracy, and shipping schedules in coordination with the packhouse and logistics teams.

Utilize NetSuite dashboards and reports to provide real-time updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes, communication flows, and NetSuite usage.

Generate and analyze NetSuite reports to monitor service levels, order accuracy, and customer feedback trends.

Collaborate with sales, logistics, packhouse, and IT teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years of customer service experience, preferably in order-driven or operational environments.

Strong working knowledge of NetSuite, including order management and inventory modules.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive orders with a high degree of accuracy.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal, perishable-goods environment.

Preferred (but not required)

Experience in fresh produce, agriculture, food distribution, or other perishable goods industries.

Familiarity with EDI processes and customer routing requirements.
